The ICCBBA Learning Lab: The ISBT 128 Standard in Action is an interactive, hands-on workshop designed to introduce participants to the ISBT 128 Standard while deepening their understanding of its role in traceability and patient safety for medical products of human origin (MPHO). The session combines concise presentations, guided learning activities, role-play scenarios, and a panel Q&A with ICCBBA staff. Participants will gain both foundational understanding and practical implementation knowledge, including labeling blood and cellular therapy products, using barcodes and unique identifiers, and encoding red cell antigens.
