Edward C.C. Wong, MD is medical director of coagulation at Quest Diagnostics and is Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics and Pathology at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He received his medical degree from Washington University, St. Louis, and did a clinical pathology residence at Barnes/Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, and completed transfusion medicine fellowships at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and the National Institutes of Health. He has published widely in pediatric transfusion medicine and laboratory medicine, has been involved in numerous leadership positions in the American Society for Apheresis and the Association for Diagnostics Laboratory Medicine (formerly known as AACC). He currently leads the reference interval advisory group at Quest Diagnostics in addition to being the key opinion leader for coagulation at his institution.
