Katie Risvold is the executive director of Circulate, a nonprofit organization providing real-time, highly granular data on the U.S. blood supply. She oversees national data aggregation and reporting across major U.S. blood operators, supports engagements with partner organizations, and leads the development of Circulate’s dataset and analytic tools. Her work centers on building a standardized data ecosystem for the national blood supply, supporting evidence-based planning, national preparedness and resiliency, and long-term forecasting.
Katherine has extensive experience in the blood sector, including operational project implementation and supporting strategic initiatives across internal and external stakeholders. She holds a M.Eng. in Engineering Management and a B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University.
