Dr. Nathan McLamb obtained his MD at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. He next completed his Clinical Pathology Residency with Harvard University at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. After residency, he practiced General Clinical Pathology with a focus on Chemistry in Grand Rapids, MI for approximately three and a half years. He then left to complete a Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine Fellowship with Washington University in St. Louis at Barnes Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children's Hospital. After completion of his fellowship, he stayed in St. Louis as an Assistant Professor for the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University in St. Louis. He currently serves as Medical Director for the Blood Bank at St. Louis Children's Hospital and treats adult patients on the Barnes Jewish Hospital Apheresis Service.
