Gwendolyn Jones is a recognized leader in enterprise process improvement, performance excellence, and organizational effectiveness. As Vice President of Process Development and Design Services at Vitalant, she provides executive oversight for Enterprise Process Improvement, Data Analysis, Training and Development, and Technical Author Services.
She partners closely with senior leaders to connect strategy to execution, strengthen governance, and enable sustained, disciplined performance excellence across complex organizations. Her work focuses on translating improvement methodologies into practical, scalable management practices.
A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt since 2008, Gwen has led numerous enterprise-wide improvement initiatives delivering millions of dollars in cost savings and sustainable efficiency gains.
Gwen has conducted multiple workshops and moderated several sessions at AABB, ABC, BCA, in addition to presenting several oral and poster abstracts. She served on the AABB abstract committee and has been an abstract reviewer for several years. Gwen has written several published process improvement articles, as well as a contributing author for a book publication called, Quality Management in Transfusion Medicine.”
Having 20+ years of leadership experience in the Blood Banking industry, she is widely recognized for driving organizational effectiveness by embedding continuous improvement into executive practice and strengthening operational rigor across corporate environments.
