Naghena Ghulam, SBB(ASCP)ᶜᵐ, is the Reference Lab Manager for OneBlood in Charlotte, NC where she has work 11 years for the organization. Naghena holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Albany and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Demonstrating a strong commitment to lifelong learning, she is currently pursuing her graduate degree at UNC Charlotte in Bioinformatics. Following OneBlood's merge with Community Blood Center of the Carolinas, Naghena relocated from a Florida location within OneBlood and stepped into the role of Lead Technologist, where she spearheaded efforts to expand the laboratory's testing capabilities and streamline operations. Eventually she transitioned into the Reference Lab Supervisor and into her current role as manager.
