Joseph (Yossi) Schwartz, MD, MPH, is the Senior Medical Officer at the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). He has served as a FACT Inspector since 2005, and previously chaired the FACT Standards Committee and served as Vice-Chair of the Accreditation Committee. Dr. Schwartz formerly directed Transfusion Medicine and Cellular Therapy at Columbia University and served as Division Director at Weill Cornell Medicine. He brings deep expertise in accreditation standards and inspection processes across both blood bank and cell therapy settings.
