Dr. Manis is an Associate Professor, Department of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and serves as Director Transfusion Medicine
in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Manis is a nationally recognized expert in pediatric transfusion medicine and apheresis. He also runs a basic science research laboratory and is a leader in optimization of apheresis collections, and sickle cell and ex-vivo gene therapy research.
